During this time, I was utilizing deconstructive fashion to intervene on traditional patterns and materials. I gravitated towards garments like suits, button downs, and tuxedo jackets as familiar representations of structure and order in clothing.

In examining these garments, I found myself invited into small, unexpected openings, spaces where disruption surfaced on its own and slowly overtook the form. While some silhouettes remain a taxidermy of what they once were, the process also pushes them from their old connotations and explore new modes of wear and movement. This project examines tailoring and corporate dress codes as systems, reworking them to question how construction, fit, and material shape ideas of formality and power.
